How do I get a Stimulus Recovery loan?

While all SBA lenders are able to make loans under the America’s Recovery Capital (ARC) Loan Program, most lenders have limited their activity to their existing customers.  Your best first step is to contact the lender you currently have an existing business loan or credit line with and inquire about their participation as an SBA ARC Loan participant.  While SBA does not limit ARC to lenders using the program for their own customers, most lenders are only considering requests from existing borrowers, and not all lenders have determined their participation in the ARC program at this time.

The SBA will be conducting a detailed training session outlying the specifics of the ARC Loan Program on Friday, July 17th.  The session will provide guidance on:

  • What is an ARC Loan?
  • Who is eligible for an ARC Loan?
  • How Do I obtain an ARC Loan
  • How can proceeds for ARC Loan be used?
  • Which Lenders are making ARC Loans?
  • Are there “other” SBA Loan Guarantee Programs available for my business?
